IOTA Beginners Guide is a purely private website with no commercial intentions around the topic IOTA. I am not sponsored by anyone or receive monetary compensation for any reports.
I think the vision of autonomous transactions between machines and in the Internet of Everything (IoE) is revolutionary. The disruptive IOTA technology has the potential to be the backbone of the next paradigm shift, creating a whole new automated ecosystem with new value chains. I would like to accompany the IOTA Foundation on this path and try to summarize all information in a big picture. For this purpose I will keep this website up to date and continually add new topics.
Since not everybody is a nerd and I don’t want to get too technical, I will refrain from too detailed technical explanations as far as possible and limit this guide to the most important basic operations. The great vision of the IOTA Foundation and its possible applications are the main focus of this website, so nerds might be disappointed. Also, I cannot mention every interesting project and will therefore refrain from many things due to time constraints. I will describe basics, possible fields of application including real projects, some highly interesting projects from the community, important groundbreaking partnerships and possible groundbreaking innovations.
The following explanations are largely based on official announcements, articles, blogs, forum entries, videos and other messages from the world wide web and the german beginners guide written by Schmucklos. His guide was later translated into English to reach a larger user base.
Not all technical terms can be avoided or paraphrased. Please check my glossary if you have problems understanding them. Please also let me know if some topics or informations are missing.
